THE REPUBLIC DAY

This was the first time I attended this auspicious event. The entire scenario evoked a patriotic spirit in me as I have never witnessed this live even during my graduation days. I arrived the campus with great enthusiasm hoping how the event would be even though I had seen it live on TV before. We were asked to stand in a radiating circle facing towards the flag pole. Gibi ma'am hoisted the flag and started the event.

Soon Gibi ma'am delivered a wonderful message invoking patriotic fervour in us. Next Joju sir and the Chairperson gave  us delightful wishes and messages followed by the quiz organised by the social science department. We enjoyed the quiz and the participants recieved prizes. Later Joju sir asked some of us to volunteer for proof reading the NAAC report. Few of our classmates namely Priyanka, Gayathri, Sister Lighty and Pranav from Mathematics department joined to volunteer. Hence the day ended beautifully.
